City of London Sustainability Awards

The Alma was shortlisted as one of the finalists in the Sustainable Food Award Category for the City of London Sustainability Awards 2010/2011.

The Sustainable Food category recognises and rewards the provision and promotion of sustainable meals. This category shows commitment to local and seasonal food, produced to high environmental standards, as well as to animal products from sustainable sources, produced to high welfare standards. We also need to demonstrate consideration of other aspects of sustainable food, as outlined in Sustain's seven principles.
